I have a jackal named Andreas. nowadays i go around and compare results with people.

so i took the SAT yesterday. I wasn't as psyched out as i thought i would be. It must have been the french toast, yeah? I'm kinda sure i did decently on the english part. the math part...well...my mind just can't work around abstract math, regardless of Zach's attempt to help me study. I NEED NUMBERS. I should make him a present for helping me, anyway.
Avatar = freakin sweet. and even though some people in the fandom aren't happy with parts of it (e.i. the maiko, and katara's painted lady stunt) i'm just content to watch it every friday! I love Toph's new clothes!
I talk to Brittany about Avatar a lot nowadays, because there's pretty much no one to fangirl with daily. And even then she and i are really busy going about the whole "Thriller" thing*. I still barely believe we're doing it!
So really, just been spending the weekend relaxing and feeling a big weight come off of me.
*We are attempting to break the Guiness World Record of the most people dancing to Michael Jackson's Thriller (the whole actual music video dance). We've got it all set up, all thats left is just teaching it to everybody...holy crap gonna be awesome.

[cough] yes. ten months of waiting, and i think i'm entitled to excessive spazzing. I wore my firenation symbol shirt. and i did a great deal of shouting. which i found funny because the day before i was very quiet and tired on account of a cold. So when i was pulling a spazzy-foamer-shout-proclamation of my excitement, my buddies where like "omg your alive today."
I also spent some of friday afternoon kinda jamming with BoB the Soundguy and Tarver and Sarah in the shop while all the first years learned the theater terminology. it was pretty sweet.
And a bit later, i found out that near all of the first years know and watch Avatar. FAWK YEAH. but they are not hardcore like me and Britty. we are so hardcore.
I WANT TO PUT UP PEEKTURES OF THE STUFF I DID IN CELEBRATIONZ OF TEH NEW SEASON......like my henna tattoossss. And me with my two copies of the lovely lovely Avatar Mag...but i prolly wont.
AND I MUST MENTION THAT TALK LIKE A PIRATE DAY WAS PRETTY AWESOME. I WISH I HAD HAD THE TIME TO WRITE AN ENTRY ABOUT MY DAY, CUZ THAT WAS SORT OF A TRADITION...BUT I DIDNT!!! D:

apart from all that. when i'm not on an avatar-spark, I feel very sad and stressed. well...yeah. I mean, last night all i wanted to do was enjoy the premiere and speculate with Britty on the phone. But then my mom brought up SATs AGAIN and then kept talking about other highly annoying things. i feel really overwelmed with pressure to get into a school.
And the other night my mom made me feel absolutely awful. We were in the car on our way home. this is how it went.
Mom: "I think you'd be a good speech therapist."
Me: "What?"
Mom: "Just in case the art thing doesn't work out."
Me: "what make you think I want to be a speech therapist?"
Mom: "I don't know what kind of job you'd get with an art degree. So just in case..."
I cannot believe she fucking said that. there is NO WAY i would be a therapist of any kind. I don't even know where the hell she got that idea. how can she not take me seriously when i say i want to be in character design or fashion design, or animation? i get awards and recommendations for art and all she wants me to be is a fucking therapist. I cried a little bit in the car when she said that...
If i could get a job where i could draw and be creative all day everyday, then...it wouldnt be a job. thats what i want to do when i grow up. thats something i am so passionate about.
but most of all. i want to be happy. so thats not gonna happen with a fucking job as a speech therapist.

im kinna tooorn between my love for avatar and my need to be "successful" in life. i keep going back and forth between happy and spazzy to anxious and unhappy. wtf.
but no one wants to read about depressing whiney things. So we'll keep talking about Avatar mmkay?!
eaaarly this morning i had a half-dozing dream that Shyamalamadingdong was asking for audition tapes for his movie. I sent in a tape of myself auditioning for the part of Toph and i got the part haha. which is total wtf-ery, cuz i don't fancy myself as a very good actress of any type. when i got up, i fantasized a little that i was being interviewed for a movie promo, and that the fans would be happy, cuz i was a hardcore fan and not a no nothing actor. haha shut up, dont judge meeee.
but seriously...i'm thinking about making another live AMV with britty soon. like...after November. because that would be amazing. or at least a funny mock audition video. OR, I KNOW, we'd perform classic Avatar songs like "The Cave of Two Lovers" or "Little Soldier Boy". cuz we've taken the time to learn how to play them on the guitar...very simplified versions. but what do you think? if you like the last one we did, give us ideas or something?

Hay i figured out how i could put up the goofy AMV that me and Britty made. it just doesnt have credits. SO, if you like Avatar, Avatar characters dancing, props, popcicles, umbrellas, and wandfights then this vid is for you. If you don't like any of those things then you're just weird.

HAHA FRICK FRACKIN FINALLY. I uploaded my music video! BUT only on FileFront.com...which pisses me off like hell, because it won't upload to anything else, not even to YouTube. I've tried converting it from Quicktime player (cuz i made it on a Mac) so that it might upload better/differently. It will not. ARG. and i worked really hard on it. Its a live action AMV of sorts: Brittany and I had lots of spare time and dressed up in our Katara and Toph cosplays. I'm pretty happy with it, i like the timing of the cuts, and the music! ANYWHO, it was my birthday! it was totally awesome! It was really incredibly nice of Brittany and Chelsea and their mom to let me have a sort of impromptu party at their house. It was great being able to see everyone too!
Lets talk about birthday shwag then:
I honestly didn't expect to get anything. it made the gifts all the more special. Emily actually dropped by my house and gave me some knee high socks (something i mentioned i would like, but never said i wanted for my birthday) and she also gave me super cute and funny EMMYPANTS note. Zach got me this highly amusing "Grow Your Own Pirate" and some pink and gray thumbhole-mwee! glove things. those will match my Neko-hat from AMA nicely! THANKS ZACH. I can't believe it, but Robbie got me a disco ball! WHAT DUDE?! a while ago i was hanging out with him at the mall in Spencers and i mentioned that i would love to have a disco ball in a room simply for the sake of being able to say "TO THE DISCO ROOM" (OMG reference to Mystery Men). I cannot believe he remembered. its awesome. Brittany made me a cake (with the earthnation symbol on it LOLZ) and another AMV using the same footage from our day of cosplay filming. good times, good times. Angie and DJ joined up together and got me 3 sets of earrings and a pirate cuff thing. its sexy. Lucas gave me a paper crane with the words "Happy Birthday" scribbled on the wings. he's kinda silly like that. but he's my brother so its cool.
HAHA yeah. it was just....so good. I want to thank everybody so much for they're gifts! it means so much to me!
And tomorrow is Angie's birthday, too, and i already dropped off her present. Its a portrait of her in only the color blue with clouds everywhere, because i know she loves the Cowboy Bebop song "Blue". eeeee i hope John can come with us to Fort Lee for fireworks. it'll bring back some silly memories! AH I WISH I HAD THE CAMERA.
Lucas and my dad took it with them for a trip to New York. They're going to watch the U.S. Open. You know, for tennis.
